Privacy Policy

Inkyora ("we") runs Inkyora. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It is written to meet India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and we apply the same principles to all users.
What we collect
- Account data: your email address and a securely hashed password (we cannot read your password). If you choose Sign in with Google, we receive only your Google email address and an account identifier from Google; we do not receive your Google password or access your Gmail, Drive or contacts.
- Your creations: the ideas, style and character descriptions you type, and the images, videos and storyboards generated from them.
- Payment records: what you bought, amounts, dates and payment reference numbers. Card and bank details are handled by Stripe or Razorpay and never reach our servers.
- Projects: the ideas, prompts and style settings you type are saved automatically as projects, together with the reels made from them, so you can continue later. You can delete a project (and its reels) any time from the Projects page.
- Technical data: a random visitor ID cookie, a sign-in cookie, and a hashed form of your IP address used to limit free trials and prevent abuse. Server logs may include your IP address for security.
- Feedback and support messages that you send us, and the email you give us to join the waitlist.
- Analytics: only if you accept the cookie notice (Google Analytics / Google Ads measurement).
Why we use it
To create your reels and show them to you; to run accounts, credits and payments; to keep the service safe (automated prompt checks, blocking abuse, fraud prevention); to answer support requests; to improve quality; and to meet legal and tax obligations. We do not sell your personal data and we do not use your reels to advertise to others.
Who we share it with
- Google (Sign in with Google, if you use it) confirms your identity to us.
- AI providers (currently Google) receive your prompt, style choices and generated images so they can produce your video and check requests against our content policy.
- Payment providers (Stripe and/or Razorpay) process purchases.
- Hosting and infrastructure providers store our data and run the service.
- Authorities where the law requires it.
Some of these providers process data outside India. We choose providers that protect data with appropriate safeguards.
How long we keep it
- Your reels, storyboards and feedback: until you delete them or your account.
- Account data: until you delete your account.
- Payment records: for as long as tax and accounting law requires, kept without your email once your account is deleted.
- Blocked-request logs (short snippet, hashed visitor ID): up to 12 months.
- Trial-abuse records (hashed): up to 12 months.
Your rights
You can access, correct or delete your data, withdraw consent, and nominate someone to exercise your rights. Delete your account and reels yourself on the Account page, or email [email protected]. We reply within 30 days. If you are unhappy with our response you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Children
Inkyora is for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you think a child has used the service, contact us and we will delete the data.
Cookies
Essential cookies (visitor ID, sign-in session, theme choice stored on your device) are needed for the service to work. Analytics cookies are used only if you accept them, and you can change your choice by clearing this site's data in your browser.
Security
Passwords are hashed, connections use HTTPS, sessions are signed, and access to data is limited. No system is perfectly secure; tell us right away if you suspect a problem.

Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date above and tell account holders about material changes.
